at a guess, 
/apps/packages/coot-installer/coot-Linux-x86_64-scientific-linux-7.6-pre-release-gtk2-python/bin/0-coot-history.py 
is a link to file that doesn't exist. You shouldn't have (or put) session state or history files in the coot 
(or other) bin directory.
