Sorry. When I installed our Fedora 8 system I selected almost all
available modules, except virtualization and a few network services
like news and dns. I recommend this approach for future installs.

Finding the right "yum install" commands is probably the only way
to get the required libraries for you current system. I'd try to
install more and more of the gnome modules (there are many) until
the error goes away.
